Let me back up for a minute.
My customer Sally was in a project meeting when her manager requested some input. And prior to she could even think it through, “that guy” had been laying out his plan for exactly what everyone should be doing.
You know “that guy” , one who has the “meh” suggestions, but somehow gets all the limelight. The one who everybody seems to listen to, come to, and appear up to, for no apparent reason.
At the same time you’re the one who requires time to think things by means of, you’re the one who discusses the pros and cons, you’re the one who can lay out an excellent plan.
just as much preparation as a huge conversation. But don’t worry, it is going to get easier before you know it.
