Time doesn’t recover all wounds, this just gives them space to kitchen sink into the subconscious, where they will still influence your emotions and behavior. What cures is going inward, loving yourself, accepting yourself, listening to your needs, handling your attachments plus emotional history, learning to let go and follow your intuition.

It might be the elephant in the room, but it needs to be mentioned. Covid-19 has changed us. We all, in some way, are connected to the loss. We have lost family members and friends, the businesses we poured our minds and souls in to for so long have been forced to close, our own jobs have suddenly been furloughed, our own income has stopped abruptly, and the essential connection– individual connection has been acutely cut off. Using of this change arrives a slow plus staggering trauma to the systems whether we are ready to notice it yet, I’m unsure.
What I have got noticed is the symptoms from that trauma rising up, collectively. The symptoms teeter-totter in between fear of the unfamiliar and the resulting apathy or hopelessness that forms from in this fear for almost a year now. We are easily triggered, pushed to our edges along with family members at risk, less cash, and our children performing school in the family room. The actual question is, exactly how are we digesting this trauma and how are we going to make it to the some other side stronger than before?
I believe the answer lies in the question and that this trauma must be recognized and processed. I personally have always been curious about trauma and what can make some stand by means of some of the most difficult problems in history and make it to the other side, and what makes others continue to endure for long periods of time following the trauma.

The extent to which different people may move on and then confront similar traumas later on is linked to their upbringing and personality. ”
He goes on to explain that our childhood experiences and how we overcame stressors over time helped build our resiliency. Some children, he or she notes, are more susceptible to optimism genetically which is connected to resiliency within our adult life.
With all this particular being said, In my opinion that yes, the childhood experiences, upbringing, and genetic predisposition for handling stressors contribute significantly to our ability to process stress, but I also believe that there has to be something outside of our past to assist those that struggle with resiliency right now.
I myself have already been on this journey as I look for ways to undertake trauma to the other side and find a location of peace.
