Learn how to Stay in the Present Moment in Everyday Life: 5 Simple Habits

There is only one time and place where you can end up being and have any control of.

The current moment.

But most of us still spend a lot of our normal days lost in memories, reliving the sunny vacation or more commonly repeating an old conflict or unfavorable situation over and over within our thoughts.

Or we get lost in scenarios about what could happen in the future. Probably through wishful daydreams.

Or maybe by building monsters in our minds because thoughts go round and round and create scary plus dangerous mountains away from molehills or just surroundings.

Or even your thoughts may become divided and unfocused in between several different things plus tasks.

If you spend a lot of the everyday moments and time in the future or the past or you have a problem focusing and you really feel this may have an undesirable effect on your life after that maybe you want to learn to live more in the present instant.

Here is what works for me to do this. Just a few simple issues that I use in my regular day.

1 . Single-task not only your work.

We and many others have usually written and discussed the importance of single-tasking your projects to get it carried out more effectively.

I have found that it gets easier for me to stay present for more time throughout my time if I single-task everything as best I can.

That means to not use tabs once i browse the internet but to just be completely engaged with one thing online at a time. It means to not use the smartphone or our computer as I also try to watch the television.

Or use any of those internet-devices during a discussion.

Get a good start to your day make the tone for this by doing one thing at a time  as soon as you awaken.

If you need to multitask, then try to set off some specific time for it during your time. Maybe an hour approximately in the afternoon.

2 . Do it slowly.

Once you wake up and beginning doing your first thing during, then slow it down a bit.

Do it as well as the next few issues at a relaxed and calm pace. It is going to probably not take very much longer than should you choose it quickly.

And you’ll be able to stay present more easily, to focus on each thing you do and to find a simple pleasure or stillness inside it.

Accomplish that instead of increasing your tension right away and getting trapped in worries or though loops as to what may happen today before you even have had your breakfast.

And as you move through your day, try to get it done slowly when you can.

As I take a step I simply tell me personally this in my thoughts: Now I am X.

For example , if I am brushing my teeth, however tell myself: Now I is brushing the teeth.

I don’t tell personally this line all the time, but I pepper it in a couple of times throughout my day.

4. Minimize  what you let into your head  early in the day.

If I check the email, Facebook and other  web sites online early in the day however have found that I will have more thoughts jumping around in my head.

Therefore it becomes a lot tougher to concentrate on something, to stay present and also to not be dragged away into some bad thought loop.

So the kind option towards me personally has become to not examine anything early in the day. And to check things as few times as I can.

If I minimize such things then my time becomes lighter and simpler and I not just stay present easier but I also tend to get more things of importance done.
