How to deal with Uncertainty and Feelings of Helplessness

Let’s take a moment to think about the concept of choice. These days all of us obviously have been given a real possibility that feels like there’ ersus not much choice, right? We need to stay home. We have to follow the guidelines out of respect for everybody else. We have to be mindful of our community and the world around us.

It’s easy to feel powerless, given the circumstances we’ lso are living in. We feel powerless over the political issues that are playing out in the world. All of us feel helpless in the midst of the global pandemic and the daily dangers we experience through our newsfeed.

But even with all of this, we have the power to choose our personal perspective on our circumstances. We are able to choose to show up every day looking for solutions rather than problems. We are able to choose to turn off the news. We can choose to be mindful and conscious of how our actions influence others.

This is a time whenever we want to really become aware of the ways we’re stuck within our feelings of helplessness. Therefore i want to share with you the methods I’ve used to reclaim the inner power when the outer world is unsteady.

LET YOUR FEAR BE YOUR GUIDE BACK TO LOVE

We recorded a video early within the lockdown that I recently watched again. It remains just as relevant now. In it, We share a story of how even during the greatest uncertainty we can lean into love.

When you’ re faced with issues, know that there is a plan beyond your own. Allow yourself to feel supported and guided, and know that you’ re creating a major contribution to the entire world by choosing to live in the light.

Each time you lift the veil and step into the sunshine, the world shines brighter. Allow your fear be your own guide back to love, and make love your priority. Rely on the Universe and follow the guidance you receive.

BE CONSCIOUS OF YOUR OWN ENERGY

When you start to pay attention to how your thoughts and words affect your energy, you can start to see how that will energy affects every corner of your life.

Your energy is really your own greatest source of power.

One way to be sure you’ re aware about how you feel is to pay attention to your own interactions with others. Keep in mind that we are all vibrational beings, therefore it’ s easy to pick-up what other people are putting away. You may not even realize that somebody has an energetic hold on a person. Pay attention to how you feel around particular people and do your component to be conscious of your own power when you’re with them. A person don’ t have to shun or judge people for having low vibes. Instead, choose to create clear boundaries, request to change the subject of a discussion, or even politely remove your self from a situation that’ s i9000 lowering your vibrational energy.

It’ s your responsibility to take care of your energy, but remember that additional people’ s energy is not your responsibility. You are not accountable for other people’ s happiness. Every individual has the power in order to shift their own life; you can’ t do it to them.

DON’T BE SCARED TO ASK THE GALAXY FOR HELP

When you turn out to be humble enough to truly inquire the Universe for assistance, you will get it. But you have to stay committed to asking.

Every month in my Wonder Membership , I remind you to ask the Universe for help through prayer and listen for assistance through meditation. Daily prayer and meditation give you the opportunity to create a shift in your life.

If you’re new to prayer or would like a little, simple way to make it an everyday habit, I love the exercise of creating an Universe Container.

It’s super simple. Look for a box (maybe it’ t a shoebox that you decorate or a jewelry box that you simply love), label it “Universe Box, ” and each day time for 30 days, put the devotional prayer in it. You can write something like, “Thank a person, Universe, for helping me personally stop eating unhealthy foods. ” Or even, “Thank you, Universe, just for helping me change our patterns of talking about others. ” Or, “Thank you, Universe, for helping me to release judgment. ” Compose a clear statement, and believe in that it’ s getting received.

This may sound like the sweet little trick, but it’ s actually very profound. The action of writing down your desire plus putting it in the package is an offering and a way to start forming a routine of asking for help.

SEE THE LIGHT IN OTHERS

There is an exercise in my book Judgment Detox that is actually some thing I’ve been doing to get a long time—and it really makes an impact. This exercise is really fun because you can feel your energy and disposition shift the moment you power up it.

All you do is silently say this plea throughout the day: The light in you is all I see.

Saying this prayer instantly shifts your perspective. Each time you say it, you start to see the world differently.

Here is how it works: Go about your day paying attention to the thoughts you might have about others. Notice whenever you make a judgment. At the moment you witness your judgmental nature, say your prayer: The light in you is all I see.

The simple truth is that it just feels better to be accepting and compassionate . It feels empowering to find out love wherever you are. Once you consciously choose to see the light in others , you allow the stream of well-being to stream. In the absence of judgment, many that’s left is really like.

SEEK RELIEF RATHER THAN OPTIONS

In my book Super Attractor , I write about how your good-feeling vibrations lead to positive encounters. The more you accept that and even begin to expect this, the more positivity you put into your life and the more backed you will feel. These good expectations will give you a sense of freedom and ease in all your own day-to-day experiences.

Your Purpose is to be the light

For instance, suppose you do have a falling out with a friend. You may be tempted to find an immediate solution by fighting back or even trying to fix the issue. But rather you can follow this assistance from Abraham-Hicks and seek relief instead of solutions. Whenever you seek relief, you acquire a good-feeling vibration, and quickly the solution will be presented to you.

How do you seek relief?

This can be done by praying (think: The light in you is all I see prayer), repeating a positive affirmation, or even distracting yourself with any activity that brings you joy. You have the power to redirect your concentrate away from the need to find an option. Sometimes I even inquire myself, “ Would I rather be right or happy? ” This issue always helps me go back to the truth of what I need to feel good.

When you create happiness your priority over being right and seeking solutions, you can instantly go back to an energy of ease. Try this every time you’ re tempted to solve a situation; look for relief instead. The moment you find relief, solutions will find you.

Be conscious of what you’ re putting out into the world. You will be a big part of the solution simply by not seeking solutions, but seeking relief.

PRACTICE PRESENCE (WHENEVER POSSIBLE)

This year, I want all of us to take more moments to just breathe. We’ re constantly in a forward-focused mode associated with thinking: “What am I actually getting done? Where am I going? How am I going to get there? What’ s happening? ”

Everything future-tripping blocks your capability to change in the moment. If you notice your self stuck in fear of days gone by or fear of the future, revisit this movie . This practice associated with holding your heart plus breathing will always guide you back to the present moment. The more a person dwell in the present moment, the greater you shift on an full of energy level—and that’s when helplessness melts away.
