4 Powerful Habits to Clear Your Mind During Meditation Perhaps the most elusive space for human beings to enter is the distance between our thoughts. Once you attempt to apparent your mind , usually the particular act of clearing your mind only leads to more thoughts.

After all, thinking about what it would be like to maintain the gap between the thoughts… is just another thought.

Have you observed the following at times? Generally we stay on one believed until another one takes over, making very little unused space. The spaces between our ideas are brief, and seldom does anyone wonder what would be like to have fewer thoughts, or what we’d find in the void together. But the paradox is obvious.

Rather than expanding that space between, we all move on to more ideas. So why should we worry ourselves with entering the elusive gap?

Because almost everything emerges from that distance — the void.

We get a good inkling of why the gap between our ideas is such a vital concept to grasp, and yes, to get into regularly, when we consider the following:

The place associated with “no thing” is where everything that is “some thing” originates from.

We need the particular void of nothing to be able to create something. As an example, think about any sound that you might create.

Where would it come from? The void, the silence, the emptiness.

Without the void, there would be noise all the time.

Habit 1: Observe the Silence Between your Notes

“It’s the silence between the records that makes the music” is an ancient Zen observation, which clarifies this idea. Think about, if you can, music without breaks or silent spaces. With no pauses for silence, the background music would be one infinitely long note of noise. What we call music would be extremely hard.

This is real for all of creation, such as the world that you wish to produce for yourself. Creativity itself is really a function of the gap. The evidence for this is right in front of you.

For instance, when I look out the window, I see the tall palm tree that will wasn’t there ten years back. Where did it come from? The seed. And where did the seed come from? A good electron, or a subatomic quarkspeise. And where did the particular quark begin? The space. The void. The silence.

I observe a building that was previously empty space. Its source? In the mind of a human being. In the silence of a space between contemplative, creative thoughts.

I view a little girl playing outdoors. What is her beginning? The seed, the egg. Indeed, but ultimately it is the real energy that is the creative push inside the tiniest of contaminants, from which all that is observable is capable of being noticed.

St . John said, “… that which is observed, hath not come from that which doth appear. ” Simply no, indeed, it comes from the anxiety, the void, the space in between. In the silence between our thoughts, we find the possibilities associated with creative genius and religious awareness that elude us when we remain attentive only to our run-on thoughts.

Habit 2: Think of Thoughts as Things

Consider thoughts as things, which need stop between them in order to attract and manifest brand new forms into life. 2 bricks can’t be attached together to form a wall with no space for mortar. The particular mortar itself is comprised of particles, which require spaces to allow them to become mortar.

Our thoughts are the same.

They require a pause between them to give lifestyle to what they represent individually. This is the gap, and it’s a space that allows us to construct, create, imagine, and manifest all that we’re capable of creating with those thoughts.

Habit a few: Observe Your Thoughts, But Don’ t Tease them

It’s a place of ecstatic peace plus serenity. It’s a place that the ancient ones of the China called the Tao, and they had been careful to elucidate how the Tao that can be described is not really the Tao.

I can’t describe the gap.

Precisely why? Because to do so is to depart the gap and revert to what is either behind it or in front of it. I know the bliss I feel when I’m in the distance, but the moment I contemplate that bliss, I’m from the gap. I think of the distance as God’s house, considering that God is the omnipresent, unseen force that is in all of creation.

Habit 4: Dissolve Your Boundaries

In every drop of human protoplasm, there’ h a “ future-pull” that allow the physical journey to progress. The entire material-world journey is in that microscopic drop of the seedling called our conceiving. It came from the no-where , shows up in no-where , and it is heading back to no-where .

It’ s all a question of spacing.

There’ s something analogous with the thoughts as well. Within all of us is the almost unfathomable power to enter the gap between our own thoughts, where we can commune silently with God and bring to life the same creativeness that we see in the world of nature — of which we’ re an integral component.

That’ s right.

We’ re just as much a part of the miraculously innovative panorama of nature since the flowers, the sunsets, the particular seedlings turning into palm trees, the particular changing of the seasons, plus everything else. It’ s being outside of the gap, and hearing only to the ego that keeps us from residing at the level of being able to manifest.
